The 22nd annual American Black Film Festival took place June 13-17 in Miami Beach. The five-day event kicked off with the world premiere of SUPERFLY, followed by film screenings, business of entertainment seminars, master classes and celebrity talks highlighted by Black Panther Director Ryan Coogler's return to ABFF®. The festival wrapped with filmmaker Storm Saulter taking home the Jury Award, Best Director (Sprinter); his film also won the Jury Award, Best Narrative Feature and the Audience Award, Best Feature.
