The 27th annual festival continues live in Miami through Sunday, June 18 followed by a virtual segment streaming on  <a href=\"https:\/\/abffplay.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABFF Play<\/a> from June 19-25.<\/p>\n<p>The 2023 Jury Award winners are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Best Narrative Feature &#8211; <em>&#8220;Cinnamon&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n\tWritten and Directed by Bryian Keith Montgomery Jr.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prize: $2,500, presented by Andscape<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Best Director (TIE) &#8211;  Bryian Keith Montgomery Jr. | <em>&#8220;Cinnamon&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n\tand <strong>Ogo Okpue | <em>&#8220;A Song from the Dark&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prize: Both winners receive $2,500, presented by Cadillac<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>HBO Short Film Award Showcase | <em>&#8220;Jelly&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n\tDirected by Anndi Jinelle Liggett<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prize: $10,000 for winner, $5,000 each for four finalists, presented by Warner Bros.
