Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase and use of ABFF 2027 Digital Passes, including Industry, Power, Essentials, and Day Passes.
By purchasing or using a Digital Pass, making a reservation, or obtaining an individual ticket, the purchaser and registered pass holder agree to these Terms and Conditions and all applicable venue and festival policies.
- Digital Pass benefits vary by pass type and are described on the official ABFF Digital Passes page at the time of purchase.
- Benefits may include:
- Advance reservation opportunities
- Access to eligible screenings, discussions, conversations, or Signature Evening Events
- Festival shuttle transportation
- Networking or hospitality benefits
- Discounted host hotel rates
- ABFF Virtual Festival access
- A Digital Pass does not provide automatic admission to every festival event. Admission requires a confirmed reservation, or a valid individual ticket.
- Each Digital Pass is connected to the registered pass holder’s ABFF account and may be used only by that individual.
- Digital Passes may not be transferred, resold, shared, duplicated, or used by another person. ABFF may deactivate a pass that it reasonably believes has been transferred, resold, duplicated, or misused.
- The purchaser is responsible for providing accurate account information and protecting the account’s login credentials.
- Digital Passes are available in limited quantities and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Purchasing a pass does not guarantee that reservations will remain available for a particular event. Event availability is based on capacity, pass eligibility, reservation limits, production requirements, and the order in which reservations are completed.
- Reservations and individual ticket sales open according to the following schedule:
-

- ABFF will communicate exact opening times and instructions through the ABFF Reservation Portal and the email address connected to the pass holder’s account.
- ABFF may make reasonable adjustments to opening times or reservation procedures when operationally necessary. Any material changes will be communicated through official ABFF channels.
- Each pass may be used only for the number and types of reservations included with that pass.
- Reservations:
- Are subject to availability.
- Are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Must be successfully completed and confirmed through the ABFF Reservation Portal.
- May not be transferred to another person.
- Have no cash value.
- Expire if not used during the festival.
- Pass holders are responsible for reviewing event times, locations, and eligibility before completing reservations.
- Reservations may be modified or canceled through the ABFF Reservation Portal no later than three hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability.
- After the three-hour deadline, a reservation may no longer be modified or canceled. If the pass holder does not attend, the reservation will be recorded as a no-show.
- Canceling one reservation does not guarantee that another event will be available.
- A no-show occurs when a pass holder fails to attend a reserved event and does not cancel the reservation by the cancellation deadline, which is three hours before its scheduled start time.
- Two no-shows may result in suspension of the pass holder’s advance reservation privileges for the remainder of the festival.
- Suspension of reservation privileges does not entitle the pass holder to a refund.
- Pass holders with confirmed reservations should arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- Reserved admission is held until 15 minutes before the event. After that deadline:
- The reservation is no longer guaranteed.
- Late admission is subject to capacity and venue discretion.
- Unless otherwise indicated, seating is general admission within each ticket category. A reservation or ticket does not guarantee a particular seat.
- All guests must follow venue entry procedures and the reasonable instructions of festival and venue personnel.
- Canceled reservations and additional seating inventory may be released at any time.
- When newly available inventory is released in stages, access may be provided in the following order:
- Industry Pass holders
- Power Pass holders
- Essentials and Day Pass holders
- Individual ticket purchasers
- New inventory is always subject to capacity, pass eligibility, reservation limits, and first-come, first-served availability. Receiving notice of newly released inventory does not hold or guarantee a reservation.
- Digital Passes purchased on or before April 19, 2027, are eligible for a refund only when the refund request is submitted within 48 hours of the original purchase.
- After the 48-hour period, the purchase becomes final and non-refundable.
- All Digital Passes purchased after April 19, 2027, are final and non-refundable.
- Individual tickets are final and non-refundable.
- Unused reservations, pass benefits, shuttle access, or other privileges may not be exchanged for cash, transferred, credited, or refunded.
- If ABFF Virtual Festival access is included with a pass, the pass holder may stream a curated selection of participating festival films on demand through the ABFF Virtual Festival platform from May 20–23.
- Film selection is subject to filmmaker participation, applicable streaming rights, geographic restrictions, and technical availability.
- Virtual Festival credentials may not be transferred or shared.
- Networking mixers, shuttle transportation, discounted hotel rates, and other hospitality benefits are available only when expressly included with the purchased pass.
- Hospitality benefits:
- Are subject to capacity and availability.
- May not be transferred or exchanged for cash.
- May be governed by additional hotel, transportation, venue, or third-party policies.
- Do not guarantee admission to a particular mixer, shuttle departure, hotel, or accommodation.
- Festival schedules, venues, films, speakers, talent appearances, reservation inventory, transportation schedules, and other programming elements are subject to change.
- ABFF may make reasonable changes to reservation and admission procedures when necessary to address capacity, safety, venue requirements, production needs, technical issues, or equitable access to festival programming.
- The purchase of a Digital Pass does not guarantee the appearance of a particular filmmaker, speaker, performer, film, or program.
- Pass holders are responsible for maintaining access to the email address and ABFF account used to purchase the pass.
- ABFF does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the ABFF Reservation Portal or other digital services. If a technical issue occurs, the pass holder should contact ABFF Guest Services at registration@nicecrowd.com as soon as possible. Reporting a technical issue does not guarantee that inventory will remain available.
- ABFF may update these Terms and Conditions when reasonably necessary. Material updates will be posted through official ABFF channels.
- Continued use of a Digital Pass after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Questions regarding Digital Passes, reservations, refunds, or account access should be directed to:
